Youth Econet Committee – August

Typhoon season has arrived.

Although today was rainy due to the effects of a typhoon, a total of nine people, including observers and online participants, joined the committee meeting.

The main theme was how to make better use of the website.
Yes… judging from the outcome of the discussion, it’s pretty obvious that I’m the one writing this post.
From now on, we hope to share more updates actively!
I know many committee members are involved in different activities on a daily basis.
If you’d like to share your updates here—we’d love to hear from you!

We’re also planning to gradually improve the content of the website.
If you notice any changes, we’ll be very happy…!

These monthly committee meetings give us a strong sense that talking in real-time helps things move forward more smoothly than text-based communication alone.
I always find myself thinking on the way home: “We had so many great discussions today.”

One topic that stood out today was how to kick off committee meetings.
They tend to feel a bit too formal at the beginning, don’t they?
I want to find a way to ease the tension and create a comfortable atmosphere from the start.
If you have any great ideas, please share them with us!
I’m excited (and a little nervous!) to see what next month’s meeting will be like.
