On Sunday, March 2, 2025, Youth Econet held an exchange meeting centered around theme-based presentations and table talks at “3×3 Lab Future” in Otemachi, Tokyo.
Approximately 30 participants joined the event. After presentations on four different themes, participants engaged in interactive table talks, exchanging ideas freely.

Theme-Based Presentations
The following four themes were set, and multiple presenters spoke for each theme.
Theme 1: “Food”
- Akiko Fukuyama: “The Possibilities of Sustainable Food Choices that Can Change the Future”
- Yuma Ono (Youth): “What is ‘Food Loss’?”
Theme 2: “Forests and Nature”
- Hisashi Suzuki: “Visiting the Achuar People Who Coexist with the Rainforest”
- Maki Oshiro (Youth): “Marine Issues”

- Yutaka Kida (Japan Fiber Recycling Promotion Association)
- Mie Usuba (MC Planning): “The Possibilities of ESD in Regional Circulating and Ecological Spheres”

What Emerged from Dialogue and Exchange
After the presentations, participants were divided into tables based on themes and held table talks.
Perspectives beyond age and fields intersected, leading to diverse insights and new connections.

Among the participants were not only youth, but also practitioners and researchers who have been active in the field for many years.
Listening to each individual’s voice became a valuable time for thinking about a better future.
